What to do when 1.3 comes out?

Yes okay maybe the shop is a good idea actually, /bank sell would be great 1/3 of the price. But items need to have prices that makes sense.

I put I dont mind, but to be honest with you, resetting the inventory could be a bad thing for non-donator high geared players like me.
I worked so hard to get those 2 blizzard staffs ;-;
I will be fine if you reset the map, ranks, bank accounts, and stuff like that, but an inventory reset is something im up for.
even though I would usually make a new world and character for every major update on SP, based on the spoilers, the new things will probably be very hard to get.
And the hacker problem will continue no matter what if you delete inventories.

i think the selling items to /shop is impossible becouse u can have multiple terrablades in your inv and that alsow would make hackers be able to make ss by spawning in items and sell them to shop. about the bank acc i think its good but not the ranks and inv becouse players have worked soo hard to get those items.

Yeah, I'm still thinking ill do a full reset when 1.3 is out.

I'm thinking about doing a number of overhuals, if i can find the time.
* Adding all (or most) items to the shop, at a much higher price though
* Redesigning the ranking system, replacing it with maybe just 4 (maybe 5...) classes, that go from level 10 to 100, less rank names though, so instead of 7 rank names, itss more or less the same, but leveling up to 100
* Adding restricted items to classes, so they are more like an actual class, more RPG like
* Balancing the list of available spells, to the new ranks ofc
* Balanding the donator rank, maybe adding a level 1/2/3 donator class that has higher acces, since the current donator rank is a bit op
* adding other donator options as well, to buy soul shards, which will help me pay for server hosting but also let players level up quicker or also buy items they want.

this is all just an idea at this stage, it would take quite a bit of work to setup, and its only if i have the time. however, i think we are due for an overhual, mix it up a bit.

That sounds great! Would you lower the ranking price or increase vote reward? Because it takes over 250 days (with only voting money) to get lvl. 50 as it is. Of course there is farming and gamble, but I still find ranking all the way a little hard.

I am still very against the full reset and i think that a bank reset is the most necessary thing to do. I don't believe a full reset will be worth a whole lot after the tons of angry people rage and decide they're going to quit the server.

Frost, i think that raising the voting system's reward is a great plan because getting soul shards is a HUGE problem for me, it always takes me weeks to rank up any of my many accounts to just lv. 12, and voting still seems to be the most productive way over farming, gambling, etc...

Im to against a full reset becouse the server wil loze a lot of its veteran players.
for the rest i think the ranks are good as they are now, but balancing donor and spells sounds good.

Well if I do the reset... I'd do a x5-10 shard event for a while to compensate, also items wont be as hard to get since you will be able to buy all of them, as I plan on adding everything into the shop.

Ok, well maybe I'll revise the existing rankign system, just balance it more, adjust pricees to level up and at what level you get new features, as well as extent level cap to 100 (but also have benifits all the way up to lvl 100, but maybe only beneifits every 10~ levels or so, but also cheaper to level up)

Also, IF i do this (instead of a full reset) I will atleast reset bank accounts ,because the ecconomy is very out of balance at the moment. So players don't have to start from scatch, but their bank balance will... Only way to restore the economy a bit.

Either way, most likely be some big changes.
