What to do when 1.3 comes out?

Ok, just out of interest I wanted to see how people really feel and what they'd like to see happen when 1.3 is released.

Apparently 1.3 is going to be the last update for Terraria.

The options in the poll are the only possible options I will consider.

Map resets are needed every once in a while to give more building space. It is no fun to listen to the whining of "there is no where to build!"
Any other form of reset would hurt more than it helps.
We have had a bank account reset a few months ago (or at least my accounts did).
This really didn't fix any problems. There where a lot of people saying that theirs weren't reset so I'm honestly not sure what happened there. If a bank account reset is chosen, a notice would greatly be appreciated so that people like me with a sufficient amount could /rank up accounts with it rather than just lose it.
Rank resets would kill me. I have my Senior Moderator and Donator accounts that I'm guessing wouldn't be reset but I have 10 other accounts that I have been working on ranking up for months & months. This would not be fun to try and gain back. I think a lot of people will feel the same way.
Inventory resets would not be the end of the world for me seeing as I do have /item.
The majority of people however do not have /item and would be unhappy with losing the items they have searched for and crafted for a long time. Deleting the items wouldn't fix any hacker problems because they can, over time spawn items they want back into the server. Maybe they would be "easier to rule out" but does that mean we are going to have to do this often? Hackers come randomly and that isn't going to stop.
With a complete reset, the things I said about the other reset forms above would apply here. I think we would lose a multitude of faithful members if we take all of their hard work and achievements away (this goes for the bank, rank and inventory resets also).
All in all people are going to hack, so deleting hard work to try and stop that isn't the solution. We (the staff) can continue to try to catch and ban hackers when they are among us.
I do understand the idea of a fresh restart, but being totally honest, this server has grown with faithful members tremendously, and I feel that we are past the point of being able to reset without damage to the community. I know personally that there are many who have spent endless hours of their life trying to gain riches on this server (me being one of them).
If the majority decides to do a reset in the form of something other than map reset, it isn't like I'm going to rage quit or anything like that. I just wanted to put all the arguments that I've seen/ have myself about why these resets would hurt the server into one post.
I apologize that it is so long. I look forward to continuing to grow as a server and as a community, reset or not.

i just would like a map reset than any other, inventory reset: no i dont want that, i already took hours to get my stuff, bank acc reset: maybe maybe not, rank reset: HELL NO! doing a rank reset will make me not happy, i might basically quit if that happened :/

World reset. I have a lvl 13, a lvl 25, a lvl 9 or 10, and a lvl 14. I don't want too lose all this. And yes Panther, this will be the last update, but they will also release T2 (Terraria 2), or so they say. If they DO release T2, then PLEASE make a server on it. I have already seen rumors about it... (Hint hint New boss: 100k lives, 500 defense, and 300 attack, I have no idea if that is true though!)

Hackers are probably always going to get items in the game, but atleast the economy for shards could be reset.

I was also planning to put ALL ITEMS into the shop, and adjust the price of the existing items a little bit more expensive, so people are more inclined to farm for stuff.

That's fair enough. It is your server after all. I'm wiling to work to gain my ranks, items and soul shards back. Your server is after all the only place I play. However there will be some people to quit. I guess not everyone will be happy either way.

I like the idea of ALL items in shop. That'll make it a lot easier to find and obtain the item that you want.

Panther please no full reset. If so, Can you at least add a new rank called like "Veteran" which would be Lvl 75 and everyone who has been playing more than 9 months gets it, so that the players (Like me) who have a lot of ranks and items don't lose everything. Also you should keep the donor and staff ranks!
If you DO add the Veteran rank then it could have these features
If you get it now, you start with a bonus 10 million ss too buy items back from the shop.

Neon green (Or neon yellow) text color
All donor things except custom rank names, level 100, and use of steampunk wings
Also they should have a custom color on forums, like neon green or yellow.
