Suggestions?!?
#51
Another suggestion I have is to have a Plugin in which you get Auto-Kicked for staying AFK too long. People AFK for days in farms like /warp dungeonfarm and get ss super quick. I know that Livin stays there for days and craves farms just to AFK there.

I personally don't AFK unless I need some SS for certain builds and such but I feel like it is wrong to just do nothing and give yourself Soul Shards. I do build farms but they are private and I urge anyone who glitches in to just gtfo because of this. It has gotten to the point that newbies are getting millions of SS by just begging for tempest staff and summoner items.

There was a rule on AFK'ing for too long with summoner items, what happened to it? Why was it removed? It isn't fair to AFK like Livin (which just goes to sleep and wakes up next morning with like 50m) and get inflated with SS.

In Zterra, there is a plugin which you wait for ranks instead of gaining currency for it. Maybe you could make it so if you are on a block for so long it kicks you from the server. Also the plugin gives you a rank after so often, and maybe you can make it so you have to wait for the same amount of SS the server has to give you before you rankup. SS would be used to just buy stuff from /shop and to trade with other players.

The extra plugin seems to be an impossible task for me, as I don't really know how people modify and make plugins but if you get it working, it would be great. Ranks would have to be obtained legitamitely through playing the game, not farming for SS and ranking up ASAP.

Though this other plugin would make SS useless in a way, it can control the amount of ranks people have, because I saw a newbie yesterday that is lvl 23 right now, I don't remember his name but he said he had used /warp dungeonfarm alot

An easy fix would be to have dungeon creatures not give you SS and only give you drops but I like suggesting the complicated way TongueTongueTongueTongueTongue\

(BTW, as the saying would go "Time is Money" which would be true in this case)

I think this would be a good plugin to keep off the infinest hackers.
Yes, I think this would not prevent Gameiki mod to be kicked but if you can figure it out Panther, it would make Moderating a lot easier

[edit]: The Text is at the bottom left hand corner FYI
The issue with that is...
I now have Infinest installed. Primarily due to Panther hinting at me to do so, because I can see who is holding certain items. It also allows me to see a player's ID easily, so those people with complicated names can be easily banned, etc. (and those people with a number for a name, because I can't use the number for a ban/kick.) Not to mention, is makes building crap a lot easier and quicker. It also makes using world edit a lot easier too, since I don't need to drill to a point, I can just noclip to it. Plus, having it automatically makes moderating easier when you look at those features. - But it sure as hell does lag my client.

Its just a shame when some asshole uses it to mess things up.

Whoever, I can see the issue, and am all for it, because I can just uninstall it if I need to. I might even end up uninstalling it anyways if the client lag gets too bad.

Infiniest wrote a plugin to stop his client joining servers, however, he charges money for this, which is think is a fucking DOG act.

Furthermore, hackers aren;t going to be stopped by that. IF they can't use Infiniest, they will use other modded clients... so it would be a waste of my time and money paying for this plugin.

That being said. Wolfje is working on a much much better anti hack plugin that you might see around this weekend.

It detects when people are spamming projectiles, items, warping, ignoring debuffsm godmode, ect and instantly kicks/bans them

Why wouldnt It be a good idea to ban hackers?

Probably because people have a chance to turn the hacks off.

Let's take an example, there is this server which I can use Infinest and such. I leave the server, I come to the server... But I forgot to turn Infinest off. Well... I guess you get me. It's just for people to have a chance to turn them off.
