Suggestions?!?

Ok, so... I want to open the floor to suggestions.

What suggestions do you have for existing server/plugin changes that you think would make this server even better?

Or

What plugins do you think we should get to make the server better?


Couple things I'm already looking into:
Bank Chests, so you don't lose everything when the map rests (Usually resets monthly at the moment)
Creating a NOMOB/KILLBOB region around the spawn point
Sign Commands (I need suggestions for commands you want to see on signs)
*Starter Kits or Starting items


* I have made a chest with some noob items, but I'm thinking about making a plugin that just stars you with certain items, instead of being naked.

The 2 threads ive made are what I believe is needed. Sign commands would be good but watch with giving permissions on them. Banning spawn statues, spikes, boulders, and straight up dev items would be nice... Fix some clashing plugins and the crashes (if only i could read your plugins and logs) that would all be great. Obviously the infinest plugin too.

These are just past things i feel need fixing.

If you want another plugin suggestion then add a plugin that puts the in game chat on the website, so we dont need to be in game to talk.

P.S. and yes, move all the custom invasions to arena or elevate the spawn. Either way make spawn a diemob zone.

Put up a FAQ sign near spawn. Frequently asked questions include:
"What happened to my items?"
"How do I get stuff?"
"Why am I frozen?"

And someone please find out how to say "Please speak English if possible" in Spanish, and tack that onto the sign. I'm annoyed when 70% of the chat box is taken up by foreign jabber.

Finally, there's no need to protect the huge underground area beneath spawn.

Crashes happen, no one's server is 100% up. It's just that the game is buggy.

I was thinking about adding IRC and replacing the Shourbox with a chatbox that links ingame with IRC. It would take me some time to setup, though, so ill probably look at doing it when i get back from holidays in a week

Alright sounds good. Heal signs and kit signs would be cool.

spawn statues put on timers that arent at spawn are just simply annoying and laggy.

As for crashes, you may be right it could be the game, but im 95% sure its a plugin problem. stopping at found server isnt a complete crash and probably points to something besides the game. id ask wolfie to confirm if he ever came on.

I havent seen it get stuck there without actually crashing for a long long time.

It seems to do it every other day for me. Maybe it fully crashes when you eventually get on. That or I am hallucinating.

If I thought it had anything to do with a plugin, I would fix it.

Let me know of any other suggestions you would like.

I might setup a nomob region around the spawn. this would also stop people spawning bosses are the spawn point too I guess.

I might also add and setup sign commands for /heal and /confetti or something at spawn.

ok another plugin i want to see is a /ignore. its like /mute but only for you specifically (like in dota). it saves with your account and you can have a list of people you ignore. I can code if i need to but id rather not redownload visual.
