Hey Panther, keep SSC, otherwise people will come on with OP stuff and then this will be just another server like DarkUnderDogs, where there are chests with every item in the game and the server will become boring.
For the Arena, get some ideas from Teeria's arena, with the artificial Corruption and Jungle biomes so when you spawn those bosses they don't run away or go psycho or whatever, like Plantera.
I definitely think you should add in sign commands with /heal and buffs at spawn, maybe with special kits for special ranks and stuff, but definitely with /heal.
Thanks,

Raising the vote rewards is going to make it so FMoon and PMoon items had better go for at least 2mil.
Not sure if Black Lens can be /shopped, but the demand for that is going to explode. Thankfully, I'm stocked up on Sight.
I had a black lens once... sigh.
Same with Truffle Worms. I'm not sure if Fishron is going to join the existing Sharknado event, but I think a tiny enclosed arena will be no good for him. From what I've seen, he's not like Golem or Plantera. Open-space will be good. Preferably in the jungle, too, so Plantera can join her own invasion without being OP.
Okay, and the reward for trivia should either be increased, or the rate at which it's offered should be increased. More trivia = higher incomes. I personally prefer the reward to be increased rather than the rate, because it stinks to be constantly on edge waiting for the next question.
Finally, I'm not happy with how PvP works. The penalty for PvP death is very discouraging to people like me. I say reduce the penalty for PvP death to zero ( or roughly zero), and reduce the rewards for PvP kills to the point that it's roughly as profitable as killing monsters. That's how it worked on 2DForts, a dedicated PvP server that I used to play on a lot. I was highly addicted to that server before it was left behind in 1.2.
Finally, the starter chest. Considering we start in Hardmode, I have an item suggestion:
Nightmare/Deathbringer Pickaxe. In order to progress without making purchases or cleaning up after arena battles, you have to make these tools in order to go through molten, cobalt/palladium, etc. But not only is it unlikely that a new player will be able to venture into the Corruption/Crimson without being murdered by Herplings/Corruptors, but there's no way to break the hearts/orbs. They're sealed off, and bombs are not allowed. So that's why I propose we add those two from the get-go.
And the Jetpack in the starter chest was unnecessary. I think Rocket Boots will do. To counteract the lack of wings, we should add a high-altitude warp so everyone has access to Wyverns. (I grudgingly acknowledge that this was a good idea from Teeria Legends.)
I really like this feed back.
currently the starter set is molten items, which is the highest "easy mode" items, which is far as im willing to go.
jetpack/rocket boots.. .whatever, thse items are sold from npc, which is why i give them out.
The invasions are still disabled... I do need to assign them to an arena, and im not sure if ill add fishron to sharknado.. i might though lol, but i have a lot of work to do redesigning/tweaking everythign we have right now.
pvp deaths? Ahhhh its already down to 0.25% of your balance on death. There needs to be some penalty, and i under stand a balance of 50mil is like like 125k, but... you have 50 mil lol
what you can do is be a little sneaky and transfer your money to a "bank" account and login to another account so if you die, you dont lose as much.
unfortunately atm there is only 1 penatly, and its for death, not a pvp death and pve death. just a setting that gives your killer the money you lose on death.

The chest has a stock of items, people can right/left click on the sign above it with a set sell price/buy price, and the money will go into the player's account even if they are offline. Now I'm not sure if this can implemented into Terraria, but if it can, it would be a great addition to the server. I know most things can be bought in the shop, but I think we should limit the shop to only tiles, walls, decorations, and crafting stations. Then people could have shops stationed around this map with this feature, with weapons and other non-shop items. I personally like the thought of player-owned shops. Player shops opens up a plethora of unique interactions among players, which I like. It would give us a better economy, the ability to buy from offline players, and a more 'refined' source of income. We could even have a donator-only shop as well.
Chests are exploitable... you can move an item from a "Chest shop" to your trash, then close the shop and then remove it from trash to "steal" them.
This is why a "Chest shop" will never happen. Sorry, but its terraria's fault, not tshocks or any plugins.
I think the /shop commands work jsut as well though, however, what i might do, is make it so you can only use this command when inside a certain area... maybe when i ahve everything sorted out, you can design a "Shop" and i can use that area for this, then we can put signs up and stuff explaining hwo to use it and ect
I might be possible to add trade commands so pople can setup a shop in a region, and say something like /shop browse, to list items, and money goes to the shop owner, but this requires some expansion on the plugin we have now, which Wolfje wrote/modified, and he's already under heavy load, i dont want to ask him to do too much more.. but maybe one day.

I dont have sign commands, but all the ranks have many /"spells"
for example, priests have /mend, which is the same as heal that tehy can cast on other players too
I might but some buff ones at spawn, but im not sure.
currently im re-designing ranks permissions and the /commands they get, alongwith documentation.

We still need that clan plugin panther, I want to make my Doom-Death clan :/
Also, if we do get clans, they could have like their own ranking system perhaps, or that just might make everything explod-BOOM
EDIT (because of post below): okay, sorry i forget things a lot, sorry for the inconvenience.

Hmm... Some sort of special abilities could be nice... Add various commands that so special effects, such as, one that increases your melee speed to an extremely high level for a short amount of time.
I'll post more ideas as I think of them.

I would really like to see a in-game link feature like Minecraft has. Put a link in the chat, clicky-clicky, and it takes you to said webpage. Sadly, I don't think that can be done with a plugin. A man can dream I guess. For instance, in the current spawn room. Instead of all of those signs, we could have one with a link you could click that would bring you to the instructions thread.

There are all ready a number of spells for classes, im not sure if there is a buff that gives you just melee attack speed though, but there are many others.

If you could do that that would be awesome, me and my friend can probably code it, and if panther does not like that idea, well, it's his srver and there is not much we can do about it, anybody else have a good case

You could easily make it so players can make a shop define sort of area where a guy walks in, the shop changes too things that the player puts in, for a certain price, and the shop changes too those things and the player gets the money. The reason I say this is easy, is because, in the new server, too buy from the shop, you have too be near the "Black Market" room. if you think this would be an easy way for newbies too get OP and rare items, then add limits too certain items, like the smallest blizzard staff could be 1.5 million, bat scepter, 2 million, rod of discord, 4 million, etc. etc. also you could add a new class: Shopkeeper.
These ideas may be stupid but as always, I hope I helped.
