Event: Capture The Flag

Capture The Flag

Number of Players: 10 (5 from each team) +2 Referee/Mod
Number of Teams: 2
Restrictions: No Rod of Discord, No Magic Mirror or Recall potion, No God Mode and No TPA
Flags: Red Team (Large Ruby) Blue Team (Large Sapphire)

Mechanics:
Each team must collect the opponents flag hidden in a chest from their opponent's castle.

ex. Red Team goes to blue's castle and finds chest. Gets the Large Sapphire and runs home.

The fun part is here, you can kill the opposing team and retrieve the flag but it must be placed back on the chest or the opponent's team will get disqualified in 10 seconds.

There will be 3 rounds.

I think we'd go with your arena, I'm still finishing my arena.
It's also great if we can make 2 identical castles for the teams located at the opposite ends.

Actually, i have seen capture the flag even in many other games (3d games) and what i learnt from there is that it should actually be big and not simple so its best if you used the surface and above. But make some bunkers and stuff.

EDIT: I meant whole surface and above.

Yeah the idea is cool but you need to have a really large space

I'd agree with the suggestion with the overworld part but the problem would be:

1. Some audiences may join in randomly, and may kill the flag bearer or other participant(s).
+ if the flag happens to get stolen by an audience, the game may end abruptly as the deviant may warp out.

2. A big area needs to be protected, I can only define within 150x150 at 10 instances. *The current map I made caused me 2 characters to house define the area.

3. Aside from the home limitation, it's also easier for a referee to check the players in a not so large arena.
A Referee is needed so arbitration can't be biased and to apprehend any possible cheating.

4. A large arena may also cause the game to take too long, remember people can get killed and the flag has a chance of being returned.
