From what I see, people are pretty much 50/50.

XD he slight misquoted me. I said on teamspeak that your body has a better immunity system until you're 28, I take every chance ( and choice made) in deciding what I eat from the ground or not, I've only been sick 1-2 times last year because of exploiting these advantages, sure some viruses or bacteria are dangerous but I'm always careful to what I choose, it mostly involves around our own food supply, not others. Eating foods of ground are not generally a bad idea, some cases it's good! But if it was for a few seconds, go ahead, hours or minutes? No. Longer you wait to pick the food bigger chances of something will happen to your system

If it's dry food, then I'll pick it up and eat it. But otherwise, I'd give it to an animal nearby or drop it near a piece of soil.

Depends where it lands.
In a disgusting alley behind an open dumpster which is leaking some kind of fluid? No thank you. For the most part, however, food is food. I have a teenage boy metabolism to deal with. Q_Q
I like penguins.

Bet yourself 50 dollars that you won't eat it. You get to eat food and you get 50 dollars from yourself. I can only see this as a win-win situation.

Ok what beaky said is true, getting an std or cancer isn't fun. But if it is something like salmonella, you will feel miserable for sometime, but otherwise [the burger] perfectly fine for at least 2-5 seconds of it touching the ground.

You can't get cancer or an STD by eating dirty food. It's not Sexually Transmissible Disease because it's a cool name. And you don't get cancer. You are born with cancer. Every human cell has a cancerous potential. In some people, these cells manifest, but in others they don't. You can, however, boost that potential, but only by smoking and eating things that can boost said potential. I just don't know what these things are.
