I may have worded my response strangely. I meant that VIPs are the only people who can use all equipment created from fragments and luminite.
What I was saying overall, is that neither option is favorable. The first one restricts us to only one set for the whole game, unless we buy VIP. The second option will allow us to use more sets at a much later time that can be accelerated buy using real money, and the majority of the game will consist of players using old 1.2 items instead of the new, popular 1.3 gear that everyone wants. Since pillars cant spawn naturally anymore, players were too reliant on VIPs to spawn the pillars to acquire fragments. Now this has changed as no more pillars can be spawned, so players need to buy fragments from other players who have a lot, and since VIPs could spawn pillars whenever they wanted, many will likely have stacks of fragments in storage.
Don't take this as an attack against VIPs. I support the idea of players paying for extra stuff like their prefix, commands, and chat color. I'm saying they controlled when people could get fragments, they are the only players with complete freedom as to what weapons and armor they use, and they may have a major role in the economy now, as many may have large quantities of fragments. I salute the VIPs for letting us common folk get fragments.
I hope this clears up any confusion, but my original opinion still stands: we should be able to select one class at level twenty, and later be able to use the rest of the armor sets and weapons that were restricted by the class we chose.
