So...

With 1.3 coming soon I am planning on shaking things up a bit and re-vamping the ranking system a bit...

Core things to note are as follows:
Still going from 1 > 100
Dropping down from 6 classes to 4, which split at 70 into 8 sub classes. (This is so I can manage them easier and allocate rank/class specific items and commands, with 6 splitting to 12 it's just to much variety and gets a bit messy)
No rank name change every 10 levels, instead you stay the rank and it only changes at the rank split points. Rank colour gets darker, same as usual.
A Bunch of command/spell adjustments and permission changes based on your class.


New Ranks will be:
Mage > Warlock/Priest
Warrior > Berserker/Templar
Scout > Gunslinger/Toxophilite 
Crafter > Demolitionist/Engineer

Basically:
Priests are merged into Mages and but split into damage and healer based 'mages'
Thief/Rouge classes merged with the Ranger classes


Along with this will come some 'light' item restrictions, nothing too restrictive, just to add a little more of the RPG feeling.

I will also make an easier 'rank reset' command, that will be able to refund so it's easier and cheaper to change ranks if you want to. Ranking up will also be cheaper overall.


This overhaul is probably going to come with a rank and bank balance reset (explanation below):
A long time ago when there were bugs with the bank system a lot of soul shards were duplicated and I want to clean this up so everyone is on the same page.

Anyone who purchased Shards from the VIP store will be able to re-credit the shards to their new accounts.

Moving from the 6 classes to 4, along with level changes and rank name changes, permissions etc are going to be way too messy to manage without the reset (sorry) (VIP accounts will remain)

Finally, I just want to have everyone start fresh with 1.3 (I did this for 1.2 as well)

All of this is at least a few weeks down the track yet, and at some points are likely to change.

You can voice any concerns/suggestions/questions here if you wish.

So, as you can see the spawn area on this map is a giant glass orb (Credits for this is to the creators of The Crater, the full map can be found on Curse)


I'm planning to keep this giant orb on future maps now as well, as I've resently set out 21 100x100 land plots within the orb which players will be able to claim and build on, these builds will be saved and bought forward with the Orb each map reset

I've yet to decide how to allocate the blocks of land to players, but if you have any ideas of a fair way to distribute them, id like to hear it.

Yeah, I'm not good at naming threads, but I've made a few more changes.

As you may have noticed, you're now assigned to the Yellow team when you join. This is just the un-official official socialising party. You are free to leave this group when you join, but mainly to help you and new players to find other players to play with if they want to.

IF you want to do your own thing, just leave or join another team.


I've also instaleld a couple plugins to hlp mods with tracking players, nothing to worry about.


I will be making/adjusting new spells/commands later in the week, probably this weekend.


Also, Map reset is this weekend, please remember to put all your valubles in bank chests

Ok, so I've added a few new commands, they're in testing phase at this stage and currently available to anyone over level 71 (This WILL change, don't ask me to change it right now)

Just letting you all know that I plan on being on the server for a little while at "04-25-2015, 11:00am". You can see the server time up the top right area of the webpage, next to the search button.

I'll probably just come on, spawn some monsters, do some PVP, etc.

Sorry it took so long, but I've finally fixed bank chests (the /cbank command)


Players will now have 10 bank chests after reaching level 10, and I would highly recommend using bank chests over normal locked chests for any shop/valuble items.

How to use /cbank:

It is very simple

1, Place a chest on the ground
2, Type /cbank ID
     eg /cbank 1
3, Open the chest
4, The chest is now a server side inventory chest and will save items through world resets for your account only.

To access the contents on a new map, simply place a chest, type /cbank ID again with the same ID number you used before and open the chest, the chest will now show all the items you put inside it earlier.

Important: PUT YOUR ITEMS IN THE CHEST AFTER YOU SET CBANK

On a side note, I plan to document this and other commands better in the future, but there is a lot of work to be done.
