Resigning as a Moderator

I've been thinking for a while now, and I've wasted 700 hours of my time on this game according to steam, and I don't find it very fun anymore. I am out of things to do on the game, and it's not even fun for me at this point, its more of an addiction. Also, I just realized that I should probably be sending this in a private message, but screw it, I guess I'll 'go out with a bang' or something lol

I figured, if I'm done with this game, then I'd guess that would mean that I'm done being a moderator on here as well. I've played on this server since January, and it has been fun, but recently lost its spark. I have seen many friends come and go on this server, and I know how it feels to have a friend just vanish, so to those who have stuck with me all the way from the beginning (even before I played on this server) and those who are friends with me now, I'm sorry.

At first I didn't want to become a moderator, since all of the other moderators I've seen have slowly become bored of this game, and have turned the game into more of a secondary job. Then after a while, the number of hackers grew, the number of mean players grew, and the number of new players grew so many help was needed, and I figured that I could help so I signed up reguardless, but it seems that the boredom has gotten to me as well.

Also, this game just kinda started off as a pass time for me until new console games came out since I have been a console gamer from the start, and new games have started to come out, and also school is starting up soon, so its not like I could have been on for long if I had chosen to stay a moderator.

Shout out to all of the staff, all of my friends, and Panther.

I trust that you will take my rank and put it in someone else's hands who can be trusted.

I might return one day, who knows, but I have doubts. It's been nice playing with you peeps, stay awesome.

I plan to leave on the 23th of August for good, so I can have time to decide if I want to quit the game, and just hang out with you guys for a bit, say goodbyes, etc.

Thank you for understanding Panther. I would like Paul to become a moderator mostly, but it seems that he hasn't played terraria recently, if he comes back in a day or so then I would like him to become a moderator. Otherwise, I suppose not. Good luck to you all!

I'm very sad to see you go alert . But I understand, everyone gets bored of games and decides its time to move on.


About me not playing, that has to do with the fact I was taking a break from terraria. But now, I'm going to start getting back into it again.

man I'm depressed now ... i felt like you would be 'always' there types, but alas i think all good things do come to an end.
I'll miss you a lot since hanging around you was always fun and full of surprises. It always seemed that the server became more fun with you around to talk to and your partially crazy ramblings about how the 'cow' was feeling D: .
I have been on the server like for about a month and a half and you were a huge part of it. If you do go I for once will sorely miss you.

Well, resigning doesn't mean you will be quitting the server, you're just relieved of your duty of being a moderator.
In other words, we hope we will see you again.

Hi there! This thread is interesting for me to read, as a newbie without much history with any of you cool cats. Anyways, AlertCow3, you were fiercely friendly to me when I joined, really helped me out, and I appreciate that a lot. It's sad to have to say goodbye to you so soon after meeting you.
