Although this sounds like a bad idea, but it's happening frequently: give gold vip's access to clear item entities.

Some hacker is going around lately and shutting the server down by overloading it with moonlord bags and it's becoming a pain to clear them all after about an hour. this will make cleaning it up easier. and especially when there is no staff on.

I'll reinforce a similar idea: Programming the server to automatically execute /clearall once a certain amount of items/projectiles have appeared in the world.

Like this, we can (somewhat) prevent excess items/projectiles throughout the world, without the need of a Moderator+ or VIP (if access is given to them). Moreover, this'd further avoid massive illegal distribution of items, be it Moon Lord bags or anything and, as anticipated, reduce the frequency of server crashes.

I'd prefer Pride's idea, VIPs like @"Old mursero lord" would abuse that, especially if he gets angry and wants to troll everyone, just like that skeletron exploit.

Though I doubt this is true - or maybe an incredibly small possibility, but this could be a latent virus (a virus that lies in wait and activates upon a signal of some variation and starts functioning) or could be a corrupted file - this means either a machine malfunctioned, or someone somehow managed to access one of the files and corrupted them.

i agree with you, but i don't feel safe with old mersero lord being able to summon it

you'd need to place it somewhere, and there are few places to place it

Remove http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Striking_Moment from the buff list. i just got kicked for doing 5.2k normal damage with my max buff setup. this is going to affect pvp severely and it will kick everyone. also, disable the Old man's army from the event list because of the debuff it gives. which nobody will be able to build then.
