It does not deplete anything:
1. This is not an unlimited source. It needs donors (though staff members can totally do that, it's not recommended to on a large scale, only upon requested). On the other hand, Crafters have access to an unlimited source aka commands, at their own personal disposal (any place, any time ignoring short cool downs).
2. For blocks whose Crafters don't have access to, such as Martian Conduit Plating, Fragment Blocks and more, high-leveled players are equally welcomed to get their blocks for free.
3. About "people who worked hard to earn them", there is none as I don't believe our common high-leveled item hoarders would craft high-end blocks in mass quantity and stock them (don't start doing so just to prove me wrong) because they can easily choose to do so only when needed, and keep the more versatile raw materials instead.
Generalize this idea, I have seen Scout trying to sell their armor and it really is painful to watch, but ammunition is irrelevant to our server's interest.

Thanks for adding some more specifications regarding your idea, to clear this up, here's a negative *cough* positive rep *cough*

Building blocks.
Yes, even the Fragment Blocks and Luminite Bricks variety. They are either cheap or overpriced, and the large portion of them can be acquired for free by the crafters. They are harmless, unable to be converted back to their raw, menacing counterparts.
I give out building blocks everyday and would do so any other day. I like it when new people show an interest in building creative structures, it makes PTS a more beautiful place. I cannot let myself see them do so with dirt and stone (and of course, the overused, aesthetically disastrous Rainbow Bricks and Gemsparks)
Honestly, If that was the only thing he were to distribute but i wouldn't much care. But I don't believe he plans on just putting blocks in.

Fourth, since i'll only open it whenever i feel like during each day, it's very unlikely that a certain player will get it everyday.
Fifth, they aren't forced to go there and take the items. If they do, that's their problem. And you also can't complain about me giving out free things when i'm the one providing them.
Lastly, you just seem too salty. No idea what happened to you in the past, but someone probably denied you free items and now you're getting worked up about this.
You like the idea? Good. You don't like it? Too bad, nothing i can do for you.
One, I was exaggerating when i said great idea. TO show that i dont really find it to be a great idea. Two I didn't say you asked anyone to put items in, What I'M saying is that if you were to I don't think many would happily contribute to the Chest, more so people will just put useless items in or items they find no value in. And About Winky's Post we didn't know what was being put in the chest, so we assumed it also included ML items, hell early yesterday someone grabbed a weapon/item that stoned them how are we supposed to know if its ML or not. On your 4th one people will still be upset that you "Opened" It when they were offline that doesn't necessarily mean the same guy will get it all the time but it's still random and people will find it disappointing if they miss the chance to get free items. On your last comment. Nothing Is salty about me this Is NOT a free items server, i litterally worked for my levels AND my items, im salty for the fact your offering items of value for nothing in return, you want free items? Go to Jupiter/Darkgaming/Fission, etc. This is SSC.

Again XD, I really don't mind if it's blocks, or anything crafting related regarding tools, (Though there's a command for that) , or painting tools or Paint. I never said working hard for Blocks :T, I'm Just talking about Armors/Weapons/Accessories. I didn't really think blocks would come into play. And if it was JUST blocks and Tools, and anything Crafter like I really Wouldn't mind. Heck It wouldn't be a bad idea to make a recycle bin for blocks. Whenever you build something and you have excess blocks instead of throwing them away you could give them to the chest. Though I'm thinking this is what your talking of.

You do sound salty. I don't care if you worked for them or not. My items, my decision about what to do with them. You have literally no say into this, you're just being annoying now.

Fine, whatever. I'm actually curious to see how it works out. Hope it gets blown back in your face in all honesty. If it works fine.

Actually, if it's something that will have a special plugin or whatsoever, then I'm against it. But if it's something that he's doing by himself whenever he wants, then I don't care about what happens in the end. Like he said, his items, his rules. The only reason I voted against it is because Quill made it look like something official where even Panther or a moderator would take part in that.
Just wanted to point this out, since I don't like it when people get wrongful ideas of what goes in my mind.

Nope, it's literally just me and the items i have. No official plugins or staff help. It's basically me cleaning my chests without deleting the items in them. Quill's just overreacting too much and making this sound like a very serious issue.

Im gonna close this thread since we've gone through the Pros and Cons of it. Toketsu is free to do whatever she wants with her items as long as they have been obtained legit.
We don't need any arguing regarding this, thanks!
