Before I begin, I'd strictly point out that all the ideas mentioned on this page come directly from mind, after a session of constant thinking. Copying these ideas or using them for yourselves will not be tolerated. Thank you for your cooperation.

Before I proceed, I shall inform you all about the link of the word "Memento Mori" (Remember that you must die) to the guild. A day will come when each one of us will be gone, and the coming of that day is inevitable. So, before that moment, we must exploit the full capacity of our talent and potential and make the most of everything, either that be in real life or on the server. And, to achieve that very goal, this guild was formed.

About us: Hellow my fellow players and respected Staff members! Today, I bring to you, a guild that sees your qualities and provides you with a platform for enhancing them, The Memento Mori. We are a group of players with different talents, but with one, sole aim, making our Talents shine!

This is the announcement page and no member shall post here. If you wish to join, visit our page. The thread will be closed, but will be reopened to announce competitions, farewells, closure (when the time comes) -etc- and will be closed after the information has been posted.

Guys! Good news! I have finally found an Overseer, who is @Vivid. He will be serving the Guild from now on and will be leading the Guild with me.

Also, my activity will be decrease starting today, until my exams are over, i.e The 22nd of March. Further details can be found here.

We have received reports regarding players who have been exploiting a recently-discovered duplication glitch, and among them was a member of the Guild, iDanger. As a result of his sinful actions, he has been banished from the Guild. So, to all the members of the Memento Mori, if someone tells you about this glitch, report them right away, and do not exploit the bug, for you will be eventually caught and banished. We must support the server in reducing the spread of this terrifying information.

Hellow Guild members of the Memento Mori!! Starting today, we will be hosting Quests for all of you (except Outsiders). This is our first, massive and yet, very fun activity. Now, time to announce the first Quest and its details, including rules!

Quest #1: The Cavern that reflects no Stars:
Players will have to find a completely blackened out Void, deep within the Jungle. This mysterious place contains chests which have been perfectly camouflaged. Your Quest is to find an item which is contained in anyone of them. If you find it, Send it to me in a Private message(with proof that you found it) or ping me If I'm online.

Rules:
1. No use of hacked client and glitches;
2. Teaming up is NOT allowed. Everyone is on their own. Players caught working together will be immediately disqualified; and
3. Outsiders are NOT to take part in the Quests. If anyone does so and is caught, he/she will be temporarily BANNED.

Rewards:
The first person who sends me a private message with clear proof that they completed the Quest will be crowned the Winner. The following Prizes will be awarded:
1. 5 million Fading Soul shards; and
2. A Statue of that Player will be built at our other plot (/land warp 22).

1. If you found the chest, open it and take a screenshot of the whole screen (with your character's appearance included) via Snipping tool (if you're a Windows user, don't use Camera Mode)

Hellow Guild members of the Memento Mori!! We will be holding our Second Quest starting now! Please see the information below regarding the Quest and how you should attempt it.

Quest #2: The Seven Swords of Diadect:
Diadect Brock, one of the best Craftsmen in his time, was born in Naguyax on the 23rd of October. His Father, from Launder was a skilled craftsmen, while his mother, from Xayugas was a house wife. But, she was no ordinary house wife, she was a women who practiced Witchcraft at night, when everyone else was asleep. And so, Diadect inherited her ability upon birth and grew up to craft weapons that had a special, invisible aura around them, mana. Therefore, his products were unique and had made him one of the richest craftsmen in his time. Even the King himself requested him to craft Seven swords with the best of his abilities. But, before he could submit them, he was murdered and the murderer took everything he made, including the Seven Swords. The Swords were never found and were sold to every corner of the World. Your job is to find them and decipher the special message it contains from the murderer regarding the location where he hid all of the weapons of Diadect. The swords have been scattered around the world, but to narrow down the search, you should look for them at the Corruption, Jungle, Snow, Underworld and the skies. If you find them and decipher them correctly, Send me the word in a Private message or ping me If I'm online.

Rules:

To decipher, you must use the following tool :


Here is how you use it : For example, if you find a sword, you will see an ancient symbol near it (crafted from Living Fire Blocks). Analyze its shape and try to match it with any on the tool. If you see a Rectangle (without a dot), then look at the tool and see which shape matches it. If I'm not wrong, it matches with the Central box in the first part, which contains an "E" in it. So, the rectangular symbol (without a dot) represents the letter "E". It should be noted that the letter a certain symbol represents is written on the inner side of the Symbol (on the tool). Another example, if there is a Rectangular symbol with a dot in it, then it should represent "n", right?

Note : When you decipher all the symbols, you will find yourself with Seven letters, which will be jumbled up. You must rearrange them and form a proper word. A hint, the deciphered word is written somewhere in the description of Diadect's life.

Alright everyone, hellow to all of you and I hope you are having a nice day! Recently, I've been thinking about hosting events for each rank, as the Guild war plugin will be implemented soon. So, the date will be set once we have atleast 25 members (below Overseer)! But, I need atleast 25, active members in the guild, because we have a few players who have been inactive for a while (Miner34 exluded, he has informed me about his absence). Therefore, I will be checking everyone's activity after every week, and players who will be inactive throughout without informing me, will be kicked. It's time to be abit more strict now.

Recently, we have opened a Guild Armory, where Guild members can borrow items they need, ONLY if the item is available. The rules of the Armory are as following:
1. Do NOT sell/trade the item;
2. If you wish to leave the Guild, then return the items you took; and
3. You can obtain only one item/armor set per week.
Violation of any rule will lead three times, will lead to banishment, or in worst-cases, a ban.

Lastly, I am proud to announce two Promotions. The First promotion is of @LightTail to Major (The announcement to Commander was a mistake and has been corrected), and @VortexGuy4190 has been promoted to Commander due to his limitless effort in Guild Wars (it really moved me)

In the past few days, I started working on our own, Guild Arena, and today, I am proud to announce that it has been completed. Here, the Overseer and I will be hosting Boss events at certain timings according to the schedule. The Schedule will not be developed yet until Summer break, as we aren't that active, due to the approaching of the Global Exams (mostly the finals). For now, the Overseer and I can host mini-events when we feel the need to (But we won't try to crash the server or anything of that sort).
Now, let's go over the rules:
1. Respect the summoning system and do NOT request for Bosses that are not including in our schedule;
2. If a fellow Guild member drops their item by accident, give it back without hesitation;
3. The Overseer and Leader can ONLY host the events. No one else is allowed to do so; and
4. Foreign Guild members are NOT allowed to participate in events.

I hope you all have a good time, and do leave a feedback about it in the Guild chat when I'm online. In addition, it has been linked to our Guild base (which can be found via /Guild warp) by means of Teleporters.

As we all know, today is the first of May, the beginning of a new, miserable month (due to exams). So, that is why, this will be the last Major update. So, to begin, I'd like to inform you all that Competitions for each rank have been planned to be hosted in the coming Summer break (June - August). This should not be considered to be a late date, as Global exams are coming up (mainly) and in some nations, they are the finals. After this, in Summer break, my activity (with many others) will be the highest, so this makes it an ideal time to host such activities.

Moving onto the second segment of the update, I'm proud to announce that I have been able to finish the Advertisement board, which will advertise and convey all the necessary information required to join, to normal people who bump into it. If you wish to see it, then it can be found at : /warp Mori (It has been hidden, Staff members). In addition, I'll be replicating the sign boards in many parts of the world, but they will contain only one sign, which will redirect everyone to the main board (/warp Mori). Hopefully, this'll get some members into the Guild.

Moving onto the third segment of the update, I'm happy to inform you all that our Former Overseer ( @Vivid ) is back on the Job! And @FRANZ has been made the Brigadier General, who will work side-by-side with The General.

Lastly, moving onto the last, and the most important part. I had a few talks with @Vivid over the past week, and we were able to compile a few points, which are called the "Alliance conditions".
If, any Guild wishes to form an alliance with us, they must meet the following conditions:
1. Both Guilds will support each other during any sort of decline;

2. Both Guilds are permitted to form an alliance with other Guilds, as long as they are not enemies with the Memento Mori and vice versa;

3. After an Alliance is formed, a council will be set up on both Guilds, consisting of 3-5 members. The two councils will maintain good relations between the two Guilds, and will be incharge of resolving inter-Guild issues;

4. Member switching will be enabled. Member transfer will be allowed to take place from your Guild to our Guild and vice versa. But, before the transfer, permission from the Transferred player is a MUST;

5. Both Guilds need to click/work well together in wars and rival situations.

If reaching a decision will be difficult for the Overseer and I, then an inter-Guild poll will be held, and we will see the opinion of our Guild members. If two third of the votes are in favour of the alliance after a week, then the alliance will be established!
