Last Prism, Last Straw

Last prism's projectile is disabled due to lag impact on the server caused by simply using it. While i agree that last prism is way too overpowered and that you can simply dominate everyone with it, nothing really stops you from using it too. That way you'd be even. I also agree that pvp is broken in 1.3 but there's nothing we can actually do, we can't just ban all of the end game items from pvp, if we do that what would be the actual reason to rank up? People want to rank up to lvl 100 mostly to be able to use those items. That is only my opinion and it is up to Panther, he will decide.

One of the things diamond suggested in this thread and what has been suggested before is banning certain items in pvp only. If we are to do pvp events like panther suggested then this would be the most logical solution. That being said, with the way the server is currently set up, pvp as a whole won't be fair until a few commands are taken out too.

I think the last prism should be disabled in duels but it should be allowed in PvE since i know the bug when u cant c the last prism is OP for mages and its just unfair to everyone else even those with other end game weapons

but you can use lunar flare last prism terrarian and sdmg at level 1 so youre logic isnt making any sense. Why bother leveling past 20 at all? the only benefits are ROD at level 50 and meowmere and starwrath at level 100 thats literally the only reason to level up on the server. You may say people level for the commands but we al know thats not true at all

I think Last prism should just be banned. So what most people rank up to get these items, there are other items that are very powerful too. The last prism wrecks to much of the fun for it to be kept.

To me, i like to use Last Prism because its pretty :3 but now that i think about it, it is pretty unfair that people use it in pvp and such, is it okay to use it when farming?

There is no problem whatsoever with Last Prism when it's used in PvE. Go right ahead if you want. Prism in PvP is not okay. All my grievances as to why are in the original post.

I agree with fiend and flounder. Some items should have higher level restrictions or should at least have PvP restrictions. Especially endgame things. Panther has mentioned wanting to revamp the level system some time in the future so we'll see.

The dps, I agree is a bit high, but it is possible to dodge some of the beams of the last prism, making the damage go from 600 to lower. Now there are lot's of shorts of last prism (not only high mana cost, but the attack distance and stuff) And you said someone shot you from the other side of the map, in wiki it says only 3 screen distance...
So I totally think it's fair for me. Also @HallowedNick a suggestion make all the lunar weapons usable when you are level 70 for some obvious reasons...

The Last Prism's invisible projectiles have hit me multiple times whilst pvping. This goes to show that the Last Prism should be disabled. I vote no.

I do think that the Last Prism should be banned in PVP, but I had to vote on fair for one reason-

I've never been introduced to this bug, and I did not know it existed.

I don't think banning all Moon Lord items is fair, but we should ban some like the Terrarian and the Last Prism, and this is including the Lunar Flare. However, items like the Meowmere and Star Wrath are completely fine considering you automatically put yourself up to that position (since only lvl 100 and vips can use it), unlike the area where a Terrarian and Last Prism can be used by a level 20.
