Regarding World Reset(s)
#21
I agree with Malloy, if it was just two months, then there would be more space (no pun intended) to build. although me and alien never have problems with building at the moment it would be reassuring that there is more space for us to build on.

I'm actually in for a less frequent world reset.

though, I'dd love to let this come paired with an overhaul/change on the House Defining too. At the moment, you can capture 9 plots, each of 15000 blocks. That is a LOT. From personal experience, that's an area that's extremely, extremely hard to ever fill, and on the other side also becomes annoying for people that actually want to build.

So what I would like to suggest is:
- Only make people get 2 plots.
- Increase the limit size to maximally 500 per angle, and 50.000 blocks per area (which is enough to create a 200x250 field.)
- High-profile areas such as the dungeon, temple and oceans get automaticly assigned to a responsible builder. Ever since I've given up on projecting the oceans, I've seen people starting to fight again for the oceans because they are popular areas. This also came paired with the fact that people didn't want the ocean for the ocean itself; they just jot a project there blocking the oceans for Fishron fights. /Warp east has been declared unusuable for fishron for quite a series of map resets, and I'm noticing that West is also slowly going that way.

I feel people are being to rash when it comes to the amount of space we have provided over the course of a few months. Click here to view our current map. After a month on our current map we only used close to half of the sky and underground is barely scraped, not to mention a lot of the empty squares can be purged if need be. Shouldn't be too worried, I'm all for it. Also regarding things like the ocean, I believe FabbyTizzi intends to claim them, if not I will try to so it has a proper protection.

Well, the point is, is that the community is far smaller than we had several months ago. When I look at an old map/screenshot I had of a map in april 2015, that map was almost completely full in less than a month. At that time, a monthly reset was necessary. But now, you're indeed right, the sky is hardly filled yet and we're already over the reset date.

About the ocean, everyone wants to claim it because they want to build there. Some like to have their prestigious buildings there in plain sight, others simply like to build a proper arena. Personally I think it should be anyone or no-one, because people will complain if such a thing gets handed to an exclusive group. Enchanted_, Brendan, Youssef, myself, and several others have already proven to be capable non-mod builders for an arena, so in all respect, whenever we would love to, I would really find it fair that we have equal chance to be the builder in charge for such a high-profile spot. And if not, then I think panther should add a very simple plain bridge on /warp west with at least 500 blocks of sky, like those ocean boxes they had prior to Nov. 2015. They were really great and people did not battle for the ocean, but instead for next to the ocean. But when those boxes were gone, the whole ocean-obstruction problem began.
