Poll: Ignore or Chat Above Heads?

People have been requesting an ignore plugin so players can ignore other players.

The issue is, using this will mean I would need to disable chat above heads.

So, the question is, what do you prefer? Having chat above heads and no ignore, or Ignore but no chat above heads?

In what I experienced there are a few things to consider. At any given time approximately half the server does not pay attention to what I say and surely it frustrates me and they don't really focus much on chat above heads but it is an improvement. The upside to that is that I can ignore annoying spammers so I can see people's chat. But there is also the issue of lets say unknowledge of threaten to report in some cases. if an issue breaks out, then you won't be able to see it. I personally wouldn't mind as I always follow my word in trading and follow rules. So that isn't an issue for me but for others yea. Either way will have consequences but in my personal opinion I chose yes and remove the head Chat. It would mean I have to repeat more things, but that's nothing special since so many people don't scroll up chat.

Edit: will that chat above head be removed entirely for all or for only those certain players?

If I were to add the ignore plugin, it would mean chat over heads would be turned off on the server (for everyone...)

So its one or the other.

I already explained in suggestions if u wanna see my opinion on it but I feel ignore will just be a lot more helpful and I think a lot of people would agree (maybe) ^~^.

yeah also i dont know if ignore would create additional lag.

I think we should have the option to ignore or not so maybe a command like /chat enable/disable
Or /ignore some thing like that would be great

If a newbie needs help. Well the mods or the experienced players in the server can't respond to the newbie directly, maybe tp, but this shows that chat above heads is still important.

To be honest, mostly when I'm building or in the middle of something important, my eyes are fixed at the current situation, and I don't pay attention to chat at that time. So..that can result in a minor problem when it comes to me. But, generally speaking, this would be a helpful plugin and can save people from getting Angry and saying things that they regret saying afterwards. I agree to the implementation of such a Plugin.

I've been already pretty long on this server, and to be honest, I've never seen the real "need" to block somebody.
