Ban all of the Moon Lord Weapons NOT the Pillar Weapons so people are only allowed to use class specific weapons e.g. Daybreak/Solar Eruption - Solar Flare Set, Nebula Blaze/Nebula Arcanum - Nebula Set etc.
I'm going to focus on what you first said and say that the whole point is to get rid of the overpowered weapons that obfuscate the need for skill. We want to get rid of the items such as the nebula blaze, star wrath, terrarian and all the rest of the "Spray and pray weapons." Aside from that, I think we should ban a LOT of the newer weapons from guildwar. It should take multiple hits and collaboration with other players to take down someone. The only 1-shot weapon should be the sniper which would be perfectly balanced among weaker non-oneshotting weapons. Plus if we lower the level of power players can put out at once, then we get more weapons in play that'd normally be ignored for better weapons. It'd be nice to see boomerangs in play again for once. Not to mention bows and more unique guns. Not to mention permabuffs. I think buffs in general should be banned, but permabuffs are just straight up unacceptable. Guildwar should be a measurement of which guild has the most skillful players and well, most players overall. Also, about the falling back, yes, we have to, if not need to, fall back to the weapons that don't one shot each time. The problem isn't that we use overpowered weapons regardless, its that the weapons we use now aren't dodgable/fightable. Guildwar shouldn't be a fight of who's buffed their starwrath the most.
