Edit Reason: Added what I forgot to say
)
Let me try to give a glimpse of my perspective:
** In my opinion, a successful minigame is a combination of all these: good concept, beautiful arena and an enjoyable implementation.
* For the Implementation: kudos to @Panther for doing ALL the work, because he is the developer. He also never stops working on certain minigames just because they are complete and instead always looking to our feedbacks and constantly fixing bugs, balancing gameplay etc.
* For the Arena: @RunnerNS (aka Flo) said that your arenas were semi-okay. Though it is a matter of subjective opinion, I believe he didn't simply say so because he hates you so perhaps we shouldn't take that into consideration.
* For the Concept: this is where you role comes in most of the time. You came up with ideas for the minigames (and then prepare the arenas yourself, which people should admire you for). However, while you might not purposefully get the idea from any particular server, I strongly believe there must have been an "inspirations" to those ideas, even if they came from a completely different computer game/movie/etc. There is a limit on what kind of fun you can achieve in Terraria, and that limit is really too narrow for any of us to claim "complete originality" for our ideas. Take one of your game for example: Death run, one of your minigame featuring team variation in set up and objective (runner and... psychos? I forgot the name). It might be new to our server, or haven't been implemented by anyone else, but it is in no way an original game idea, and when we talk about implementation, it is @Panther who gets the credits. Trying to operate such game manually without a server's plugin is NOT fun at all. Therefore, Death run speaking specifically, I wasn't impressed.
=> You do have ideas, but I believe that if we actively poll for, others also do. What you beat them to is perhaps your love for making minigames and the will to open up to share those ideas.
** (tl;dr) So my point is: While I appreciate the fact that you are a very dedicated player, and it was unfortunate that there might be some wrongful opinions about you, the fact that you created this post led me to my final question: What if your demand for recognition is perhaps a little bit too much for the extent of your achievements?
