I'd agree with the suggestion with the overworld part but the problem would be:
1. Some audiences may join in randomly, and may kill the flag bearer or other participant(s).
+ if the flag happens to get stolen by an audience, the game may end abruptly as the deviant may warp out.
2. A big area needs to be protected, I can only define within 150x150 at 10 instances. *The current map I made caused me 2 characters to house define the area.
3. Aside from the home limitation, it's also easier for a referee to check the players in a not so large arena.
A Referee is needed so arbitration can't be biased and to apprehend any possible cheating.
4. A large arena may also cause the game to take too long, remember people can get killed and the flag has a chance of being returned.
