I guess I just consider it a "coming-of-age" sort of thing; a hazing or initiation. Getting griefed, I mean. 
Or, maybe, just an urgent lesson in how to protect my home!
I have to say, I love just flying around and looking at all the houses and other projects people have. It's almost like summer camp, or a party with everyone chattering and zooming around each other.
