I don't think iAtlantis is that much of a "problem" to receive a permanent ban. Staff members are not even permitted to perma-ban players unless they are using obvious client-side hacks. That, or causing trouble with members of other servers.

If he starts blabbing off, just give him a one hour ban. If he starts up again afterwards, then give him the day ban. There isn't any reason why you should be banning him for longer.
