Introduce a new type of thread: Announcement thread
When someone makes an announcement thread, he will be the only person who can reply to it. It can be used as an announcement page such as the one @Pride has for his guild, but without all the staff locking and unlocking fuss. I think it would be great to make announcements for guild updates and news using it. Of course staff are the only people who can reply to this thread unless it gets shared to other people.
Also, having this idea combined would work even better:

It would work like this: There will be a small box under the "Your Message" section, it would say "Shared With:" and you would type the name of the user using "@".
Ex: Shared with: @Glenn, @Baaslonn, @Coolncreamy

The maximum amount of people that we can share threads with will be decided by you (@Panther).
This will allow users to share threads with others and make them editable, perhaps for any typos, adding guild players and just general stuff we all know.
