Q & A for 1.3 Reset

Please post any questions you have regarding the upcoming 1.3 Rank/Server Reset here and I will post the answers.

When is the reset?: Some time between now and when 1.3 get's released. I'm updating a number of plugins at the moment in preparation for 1.3, one of them is SEconomy (soul shard bank accounts) and I want to do the reset when the new version is out, which will be sometime between now and 1.3's release.

What is being reset?: The Map (of course), bank balances, rank/level. Inventory/Bank chests will remain. I feel it would be fun to do a full reset for 1.3, but some more casual players don't want to be forced into doing this. Getting all your items back is not that hard on a multiplayer server, however I've decided to just not bother with the inventory reset. For anyone who wants a fresh start, feel free to make a new user account when 1.3 is out Please note that soul shard drop rates are currently set to 20x and there is free access to some VIP commands for all users which will remain this way until the reset occurs. 

Will I need to /register again?: No

Everyones had the /summon and people have got loads of snipers and other items. People are too op now

That would involve deleting everyone's account, it would actually be harder from a server management perspective to do it anyway

Yeah, but no one will have 1.3 items.

Also, this game is tooo easy to hack on... people will just use hacks again to get items into the game.

Furthermore, I will be adding itembans and restrictions on end game items to certain levels/ranks eventually.

No one will keep their items then? Also if you take away ranks will you take away donor ranks too?

This is a good idea for Terraria 1.3 BUT Some of the members spawn 100 Bosses, Very Laggy... Can you fix this? The max of spawning Mobs is 50 

And Having A suggestion, I want to suggest that all VIP can do /time set and /gbuff When someone dont follow the rules in the server, this might help when no moderators is online, BUT there is a 1 minute wait and they dont use as fun...

He will make a normal reset if u wanna play fresh register a new account
