Spawn Design [September]

So... with August coming to a close, I'm looking for some ideas for next month's spawn design. I don't like having to recycle old ones very often, so I'm trying to come up with some new designs. It doesn't have to be anything crazy really. It can just be a rather simple and normal concept. With that being said, please post your ideas for September's spawn. I would also appreciate some ideas for the upcoming Halloween themed spawn. (Spooky Scary Skeletons!)

Please post some photos of your idea, if possible. They don't have to be screenshots, they can be actual images of something, like for instance, a park in the Fall.

At the end of the month, I'll choose one and use that for the spawn design. Thanks!

I think that we should have a Ice/frost themed spawn. It's understand if we waited to do that in December but it's something id like to see.

Hmmmm,
For Halloween I'd like to see the Halloween Town Hill from "Nightmare before Christmas".
We could do the spawn underground, or inside the hill, and you leave at the foot of the hill.
This is of course only an instant idea of me.

Mabye, but things like that would be hard to implement into an actual build design. The concept is there, but you then have to think about other things. For instance, can people maneuver around the spawn with ease, will I have enough space for the NPC's and crafting stations, or will I even have enough space to put everything I want/need into spawn? That, and there is also the factor of, "I wonder if this is going to look good or bad?"

For the time being, I would probably choose this over most of the suggestions so far. Its not hard to make the atmosphere of Autumn, which I could do easily by planting pumpkins and painting the foliage warm colors. (If you don't know what warm colors are, its an art term. It refers to orange, red, etc.)

Real quick Google search, but something like a gazebo to run through or see at spawn would look awesome.

I saw someone posted a bridge already. I like the look of bridges over water/streams and maybe having an arrangement of rocks like this.

Also, I'm sure you guys know what birch trees are (they're those white-and-black trees you see that look like this) but they're something I've not really seen done in Terraria before .. not sure if it's possible, but it would look awesome to have a few of them.

Yeah, I like the idea of birch trees too, but the closest I could come to that is painting a tree white. I don't think it would turn out that well. I'll experiment with regular trees and living wood designs. I wish I could plant Boreal trees down in spawn without it looking odd due to the snow blocks; they would be the next best thing. I might be able to somehow plop them down with world edit, but I'm not too sure if its possible. I'll probably end up having to settle on painting the leaves of the normal oak trees orange/red/yellow/whatever.

i have a idea lets make big dead tree's with tons of cobweb in them and lets put benches with cobweb coming off them... adn with the grass and leaves... paint them red orange and brown... and i think we should make it so the monsters automaticly dye at spawn and have a month long solar eclipse... and put tons of buby traps around so lots of pple will dye on halloween month

I've already started doing the warm colors on the foliage. I'll probably throw in some dead trees in October, but not September. Not really sure I'll use cobwebs, they're easily destroyed. Some staff member might accidentally break them with a swing of the sword and whatnot. I can always hang lanterns and whatever from the trees, which I think looks better anyways. (Obsidian lanterns, pumpkin lanterns...)

I don't think birch trees are going to an option. The one I tried to make didn't come out fantastic, and when I tried using regular trees, it was a disaster.

Plus, none of that is truly finished.
