house claims deleted, items lost.

I am writing this now so that the incident is recorded while my memory is fresh. Also, a player on the server recommended that I report it on the forums.

When I woke up this morning I was excited to see that the server had restarted, and immediately began checking the corners of the map, as I have always wanted a corner base. Both ocean corners were taken, but to my delight I found the bottom right corner of hell unclaimed.

I spent some time making 6 perfectly sized 150x100 size claims, in preparation for a base that had a large buffer of blocks and could not be teleported into with a rod of discord.

Once I finished my claims, I set up a temporary base at the right edge of the map (inside my claimed territory) and pulled some of my items out and began organizing them.

Then, disaster struck.

I logged on several times throughout the day, planning my base and working out what I would put where, when I suddenly discovered my chests room had been destroyed.

I was trying to discover how this had happen when I had carefully defined my house around the area, and I used /house scan.
/house scan showed that all my house claims were gone, it said that I had used 0/10 houses, not 6/10.

I discovered a level 300 Mod, I believe the name was MyrMetal or MetalMyr, working in the area. He claimed to have been clearing it with rockets, and said that the rockets might have destroyed my base. I wanted to ask how my house claims had been deleated, but pressing IRL events forced me to leave my computer. When I came back half an hour later, he was gone, and a small glass house had been built in the corner inside my planned base.

I'm not sure what happened, if MyrMetal was aware I had claimed the territory, or if the protection had been removed by something or someone else prior to his arrival. But I do know that I lost every item not on my character.

Where my house had stood, 2 chests remained standing, floating. They were my cbank 1 and cbank 2 chests, and they were both empty, despite previously containing some of my most valuable items.



Estimated lost valuable items that I had intended to sell:
09 x ranger emblem
09 x warrior emblem
02 x sorcerer emblem
01 x avenger emblem
90 x life crystals (approximately don't recall exact number)
69 x life fruits (also approximately)
01 x terra blade
01 x vampire knife
01 x north pole
04 x charm of mythos

And I also lost all my personal accessories I wasn't wearing.
01 x warding frostspark boots
01 x menacing fishron wings
01 x menacing ankh shield
01 x menacing fire guantlet
01 x menacing warrior emblem
01 x menacing destroyer emblem
01 x menacing celestial stone

Those are not all that I lost, just the ones that I consider valuable and that are hard to replace.

I have re-claimed the 6 150x100 lots I had originally claimed, and hopefully will be allowed to keep them this time.

Man,that sucks.I have NO idea why myr would do that even though he was aware of that,but I would be glad to help you recover

I had the chance to talk to Myrmetal today, and apparently the protection on my houses was not there when he arrived, and he had no idea I had any buildings nearby, thus the loss of my items appears to be a tragic accident.

In addition, I remembered a few other things I had lost in the incident, again writing them down here:

609 x platinum coins
1 x set of beetle armor
1 x set of frost armor

the armor isn't a big deal since I can just get more, but platinum is hard to farm and I hope at some point I can get this stuff back. Other than this one problem my overall experience with panthers server has been awesome, and I hope to continue enjoying it for a long time.
