Get rid of the regeneration
#1

Description of Problem (Screenshots if possible): The regeneration plugin keeps on regenerating on peoples land. I even had to clean up some of spawn. Here is some screenshots. (I didn't take any of spawn since that was last night)
(first shot: Someones walk way is covered by the desert
(second shot: Trees are regenerating in my unfinished house
(third shot: unfinished hollowed out rooms are regenerated back in. I honestly don't want to clear all of that back out again.
Other (Stuff you feel that you need to add)*:
I think I'm speaking for everyone when I say that regen needs to get taken down
Why It Affects You/Others*:
Cannot build a proper base without getting it refilled in with blocks.

I agree with you, but partly.

Instead of placing the regen on the entire world, why not just on areas like the Jungle, a certain land of the corruption and the underworld? I find this better than gettin rid of the entire regen.

Yes that makes more sense. It was actually like that when I joined back in January.

I agree that the regional regen would be better than full map, seeing as last map my jungle farm was ravaged by world regen and flooded with lava multiple times

^ Totally definitely agreed. Need is asap. Just that S.mods and panther need to set them up like that for the new map.

I was trying to make a castle underneath the ground in hell and it messed it up several times. I think panther fixed it though.

If I have regen only on certain areas of the map, it would require me to make tonnes of regions, protect the, sharing them with all groups, taking schematics of these regions and setting up a longer task.

It's easier to d o the whole map, it stops the map from getting greifed.

You can easily avoid this issue by placing background walls or tiles so the regen doesnt paste back over. It's just unfortunate that it happened while you were still building Confused

The schedule is about every 3 hours...

Panther,
I suggest that some way of clubbing the /house define with a sort of command that disables the regeneration in an area can be applied, in this manner the areas that are enclosed in a /house define will not get regenerated.
I do not know if this is possible but it would be great if it was.

Sorry, but no, because people could still just claim large areas, greif it or abandon it.

All you need to do is place some walls/tiles in the area you want to protect, if it's under ground, i dont think that's very hard to do.

I had to clean my areas out several times before getting everything like I wanted it. That was a pain but I do like the fact that blocks, ores, gems, etc are refreshed periodically. Placing background tiles did fix the issue though.
