New user to Panther's

Hi all, I just registered to these forums that I happen to find by chance. While I was searching for any new updates on Terraria Otherworld's development, this forum's link brought my attention. After having over 900 hours of mostly normal and unmodded Terraria, this server looks like a fresh take on Terraria and I'd love to join in soon (this week I'm slammed with work, but over the weekend I'll definetly play on this server). I tried looking around for a "newbie tips" thread but I couldn't find any. So... anyone care to give me directions please? Just the basics for now, like how to join the server and whatnot, I've read the rules and I'm fine with them.

I just want a bit of help because I couldn't find something explicitly clear like "HEY LOOK OVER HERE NEW GUY, EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE GOING IN ON PANTHER'S SERVER" like I'm a little confused about the banned items/projectiles, etc... is it like I'll get banned if I use those or they're not available while in the server among other things. I also read the command list as well.

I'd love to see what this server's all about.

Hi, and welcome to PTS!

I agree info is a little bit hard to see. Let's try the More tab on the top navigation bar and select In-game Guide. Close the pop-up about voting if it blocks the bar.

Thanks for your reply good fish child! I actually read the In-Game Guide, buuut... I'm looking for something that tells me how to join the server and any other requirements before joining, like if I need to have TShock installed, other stuff required and whatnot. That's the sort of things I've been trying to look for in here to no avail.

Oh, no you don't need to have TShock installed. It's a plugin that server runs with, you just simply connect to the server. There are some restrictions such as server has items on the banned list where no one can use or equip (item frames, announcement boxes, etc). Another thing is only VIP's can wear developer's items and be able to use permanent buffs. You would have to buy potions and drink it once in a while.
