Reason to fight Moonlord

What is your reason to summon/fight ML or seek out ML bags?
Cuz aside from entertainment purposes, ML is expensive to summon, slow to defeat; and ML weapons are so redundant on PTS that you can buy it anywhere; and if you need bags for dev items, ML is not really an optimal choice.

Ugh good question.
Well I don't have a reason to summon/fight ml, because it isn't worth it.
The most players summon them for entertainment reasons or to farm that ml bag. Maybe just a collection of ml bags??
I don't think that they buy Celestial sigils in shop, because they cost 5mil each. Just a waste in my opinion.
Crafting Celestial Sigils cost 80 fragments and fragments are rare to get.
So I have a strange feeling, that they kept hacked sigils or hacked it theirself.

Moonlord weapons are hard to get, so it makes hackers stand out.
Moonlord causes lag
And its annoying to see people going "SUMMON MOONLORD" everytime a VIP gets on.
We don't have anyone moderators on the server to make sure everything is in check
And is overall a bad idea

and why would you need moonlord items if you can buy them from everyone? e.e
