Music and my passion

So, I think this, I was in band class and Practicing on the piano, about 15 minutes in, I realized that there was a fire, in my heart, that fire inspired to do something that I have never done before, over maybe the past three years, I thought instead of playing songs. I made a few songs in my free time and thought about recording it and showing it to everyone, I want to know what you guys and gals think before I can actually start recording, but in the meantime I want to see what everyone thinks before I just go all willy-nilly.

        If I see enough approval, I will record and post it during the summer (hopefully before August). 

         The reason I am doing this is because I played Piano for nearly my entire life (since I was 4, I believe) and want to express my love for that instrument and the music I will be playing.

       Anyways take a vote and tell me what you think.

I've been playing piano for a while too, but I doubt I'm as good as you (mostly because my parents forced me to do lessons and I didn't enjoy them). Now I just kinda sit down once in a while and try to plonk out songs I've heard from memory.
