Forum Announcement: General Rules

We request that all members follow the rules (unless you want to be that troublesome guy who gets permanently banned in the end e.e). Forum Rules Posting: Don't post one word, unnecessary, or spam posts. This includes bumping 1+ month old topics and/or posting in resolved topics, as well as posting separate comments one after the other in a thread. Make use of the edit button to keep the post spam to a minimum. Do not reply with single words (ex: "what" "lol") or "I agree". If you have nothing to add to a conversation, do not post in the thread. Same goes for posting for the sake of increasing your post count. When posting in the Ban Appeal or Support sections, use the proper formatting given to you in the,"Read before posting!," threads. Try to keep posts in their relevant sections; while we understand some topics may not be easily attributable to a board, try your best. Advertising and spamming is not allowed. This includes using the forum and PM systems to spam others. ALWAYS search before posting; chances are someone's already asked whatever it is you might be wondering about. Language & Attitude: No profanity, swearing, racism, or any other form of discrimination. Flaming/harassment of other members will not be tolerated. This includes offensive remarks regarding religion, gender orientation, racial or ethnic slurs, and inappropriate references to explicit acts. We want to keep our forums civil and friendly. If you have an issue (regarding the server) with a member that you cannot resolve on your own, please ask a Staff member for aid. If the affair is unassociated with the server, take it elsewhere. Be courteous and respectful. Appreciate that others may have an opinion different from yours. You are not permitted to insult, judge or criticize the person for it. On a strict note, no trolling, or feeding trolls; do not post rude, disrespectful, potentially hurtful, or off-topic messages to provoke users into responding in a negative way, or disputing/fighting. Refrain from Backseat Modding; this refers to ordinary users taking a moderator-like attitude in criticizing other members or enforcing the rules. Do not do this. If you feel a post or thread requires moderation, please let the staff know. Content: We do NOT promote piracy. To prevent legal issues, you may not request or refer to any kind of game (mainly Terraria, in this case), or other copyrighted material that has been illegally obtained or shared. If any post like that is found, the content will be removed. Furthermore, do not distribute links or ask for them. Keep it safe. Remember that the forums are public places. Don't post personal information that you would not be comfortable sharing with a stranger. If someone attempts to invade your piracy in anyway, such as IP logging, contact a Staff member. Keep in mind that there are kids on this server, so discuss subjects that are friendly for all Posts including links to sites that are vulgar, erotic, or are otherwise deemed by a staff member to be inappropriate, will be removed without notice. General etiquettes: Typing exclusively in very dark colors like this and this makes your messages hard to read and makes peoples eyes bleed. Don't do it. This goes for rainbow text too. CAPS LOCK is like shouting - people don't like being shouted at; so, refrain from using it, especially in the shoutbox. Emphasising? We have MyCode for that. Don't tell others how to type (addressing style of typing and grammar standard, for now). Dis iz a k3wl w4y 2 tipe 2 (but whether if people understand it, is your own risk). The internet is not an English class, and people are free to type the way they want. You may correct their spelling, because generally, it's a friendly and teasy thing which friends usually do. Don't break the shoutbox by posting in really big text, images -etc. Additional rules: One account per person. One person with more than a single account on the forums can be confusing and problematic to others, especially if you actively use both accounts. Cases before this thread have been excused; however, multiple accounts under a person's IP (currently) will be removed in time. Making multiple accounts to enter raffles/contests is prohibited: entries are checked and those who attempt to cheat via multiple accounts will be punished. Report abuse. A strong online community is self-governing. If you see abuse, report it to us by either using the report button, or contacting a Staff member privately. All of these rules apply to the shoutbox. Several in-game rules also apply here (the ones which are applicable). It's the staff's job to decide what is against the rules, so it's not necessary for it to be in the rules (however, they will be added with time); if someone doesn't understand what something means we can explain it to them then. These rules are not all bound to take place: the decision of the staff will be taken as final in any situation. Failure to follow the above rules will result in warning points, or your post being removed. Continuation of breaking the rules will result in a temporary ban. If you continue to fail to follow these rules after your ban expires, you can be banned permanently. This thread acts as guidelines for our members. I, along with other staff members cannot imagine every circumstance and reserve the right to change these rules, move/remove/edit/close threads and posts, and warn/ban members at our discretion at any time.
