Well, I'm off for tonight (or morning, it's 4 am here) and before I go, I wanted to ask you people, what inspired your character? And If this character was in an RPG, what would be his/her backstory/destiny? I would like to read some of you people's creative posts (as if I haven't seen through the awesome pixel-art you guys and gals have created).
My character model was inspired by "Izuna the summoner," a character from a youtube series based on an expert mode magic play-through. As for my story, It goes a little like this, my home planet of vortexia, was ravaged and destroyed by sinner's band, an elite force of invisible characters that roam the universe, and the leader(s) are seven, yet deadly sins: lust, greed, envy, wrath (anger), gluttony, sloth, and pride (not the mod, he is awesome). They want you to join them, but must not, for I have already given you the secret, love. My father had once told me, when lust came to take me and my family, it didn't come for me, it just left, but I know now that those sins are out waiting to strike, I always do my best to forgive, or what the this book you "humans" call, the bible said, to love my enemies, and ever since for 15 years and counting, I have done what I can to free myself of these sins, yet you can feel one of them creep up on you, and you stay positive, and loving and they will back away. My destiny is to leave the world happy and purify as many people as much as possible, thank you, and that is my story.

Mine one is pretty random, I don't really have a inspired character, either in game or in real life. It's like I am myself, why should I be someone else??

Well, for the first there months On PTS, i Joined as "Snakie" which was inspired by my favourite animal, a Snake. Then on my birthday, I got to travel to Sydney with friends for a few days. One of many things I experienced was The Vivid Festival of Lights. ( might be the wrong title, it has been over a year since I was there) That festival included lots of sculptures made from glowsticks, LED's, neon rods, etc... Other things included, exhibitions, and projecting an amazing Lightshow on the Sydney Opera house.
Then it hit me, I liked the name Vivid, and it stuck
So, my nickname is inspired from light, art and culture.
May everyone shine like Vivid light in the night!

Mine is easy, in the moh scale of hardness in geology, diamonds are number 1 on the hardness scale and only it. That's where diamond1 came from

Welp I'll go next. Prepare for long post. Thanks for asking "What's their backstory?" cause now I have an excuse to talk about one of my favorite games.
For my username, back when I was in elementary school, I had to do a skit for a bunch of rambunctious first graders that was called "Cool and Creamy". It involved absurd amounts of Cool Whip and shaving cream. Coincidentally that very same night, I bought Minecraft. I just decided to shorten it to "Coolncreamy" and the name stuck.
The only one of my vanities that wasn't created from saying "Ohey this looks pretty good" was one based off of the titular character Dust from Dust: An Elysian Tail. He's also my profile pic on forums.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is probably my 3rd favorite game ever. It has by far the best immersion I have ever seen in a video game. The entire game is voice acted and it feels like you're playing a Disney movie. The hack and slash gameplay is ridiculously fun and has it an amazing soundtrack too.

The game simply starts out with Dust being awoken in a forest glade by a flying talking sword named Ahrah, who yells at our amnesia struck hero to get up. Soon Fidget, the sword's guardian chases after Dust and Ahrah and says she needs to bring the sword back to her home before anyone notices it's gone. She decides to follow Dust after Ahrah says he needs to help Dust fulfil his destiny. Don't want to spoil too much so I'll leave it there.

So we've got our three main characters on a quest to save the world: Dust, who's always trying to do the right thing and constantly cracks sarcastic jokes, Fidget, who is a fuzzy ball of sunshine and happiness and my personal favorite video game character ever, and Ahrah, the talking sword that acts as their guide and constantly seems to know more than he says.
As is the case with any hero who's lost his memory, they end up saving the world. And with most games that are super bright and colorful, the game is about racism and genocide. Yay.
This game is so good. Buy it now. It's on iOS, steam, xbox, and playstation. It's also the only game where you can dunk a spaceship.

My backstory: I used to play on a minecraft server, a server that my friend made. He hired me as an editor for the server, but it went down after 3 weeks or so. I started watching Doctor Who, the sci-fi show, and adopted the name "The Editor". (5 months later, I found out about terraria) Mine is based on sci-fi stuff. yey.

Okay then i like telling stories!
So as for most of my character designs in the past on terraria I've always tried to go for a loud and flashy look and on the way discovered a more simple vanity that i liked, which was just made up of teal dye, a mermaid adornment, some pants, and a blindfold. I improved upon it and changed it until, well, i have what i have right now. Any other game is what looks the most majestic, really.
As for my name it comes from me and a group of my elementary school friends. During middle school we all went to different schools, so naturally we did stuff on the internet instead! anyway at the time we really got into role-playing and I would always set up everything and normally what we did was in a cathedral or a 1700's France setting, so I adopted the name "priest" and changed it accordingly to whatever we were doing, (e.g. royal priest, British priest, etc) and "temple priest" sounded the best of them all at the time. I had actually forgotten about it for quite some time, until I was signing up for forums, and my other name, which is abomination that shall not be said, was surprisingly already taken, so i thought of names and used it. It stuck so i just use it everywhere now.
If my character was in an rpg... uh... I'd probably be the useless/annoying character you have to play as/with for a portion of the game.

I've been a furry since 13 years now and Foxes have been my favorite animals.
Sadly the vanity costume for the Fox doesn't look as good as the Wolf and Dyes look awful on it so i tried to make it look as Foxxy as possible.
That's my very short story of my character :3
