New Game Type and Updates - Panther - 09-27-2015

So, I've created a new game type, Conquer.

The idea is to destroy the enemy team's Altar, starting with only some basic items you need to mine/craft/build your way to the enemy's base and destroy (mine) their cross. 

For those of you who have played, please let me know what you think.


Further to that, I've re-designed the way Inventories are reset/restored for Spleef/Conquer/Bomberman/Races in an attempt to prevent inventory loss. Please let me know if anyone loses their inventory when/while playing these minigames.

Hi i love the game and i would like to suggest like some chest underground that has some items that will reset every round(not too OP) and also i would like to suggest that the cross will be broken by titanium and start up with a molten pickaxe Big Grin

Or there is kits like a melee kit a sorcerer kit and a ranger kit?

Can you make death a bit detrimental like longer spawn time since I noticed that the current conquer's respawn rate is quite fast, like if you're being invaded, dying was a swift way to guard your place with no repercussion. Making it 5 - 10 seconds till the next respawn would make players to think twice before fighting the enemy.

Also, I noticed that some outsiders can simply drop items while the event is going on, which gives 1 side an advantage. If they can be restricted similar to the spleef arena, that would be great.

There's too much spikes, though I like the idea but with 999 spikes, it seems like you can just spam it that would simply prolong or even induce a stalemate.

I agree with Nosef, the spikes 4000 spikes per team is a bit much.

At the fastest possible digging speed with cobalt equipment, a row of 1x3 spikes takes 3 seconds ish to get through.
With up to 10 rows in the team buildings alone, it's super easy to kill someone during that half minute.
Then you build outside your door etc.
Refill the holes they've made each time because hey, you've got 3900 spikes.

I made it cobalt and up because it was too easy to run to other side straight away and break the cross.

Ill revise starting items when i have a chance to implement the starter kits.

I dont know if its possible, but it would be great (my opinion) to make like a shop inside your base (blue, red) and buy things like kits as youseff said or spikes it would be great to moderate the items people can get, anyways just an idea idk if it can be implemented with Tshock and those things.

Yeah. i was thinking about adding mini shops in conquer, for crafting goods, ect...
