Dear AlertCow,
Somehow I beg to differ from you, since if what you say is true, it is surely not working with my account since i currently have a 40% warning and the earlier 20% warning is since a week back, which has evidently not expired. In addition to that the warning system may have a problem or something since i did not get 24 hours at all i logged in today morning to check the posts and saw your pm (thank you for making an effort to notify me) and the post i had made was not even 24 hours old. I should have gotten time to edit the post the next day when i logged in.
Plus second thing is, that the same happened when Zilophos gave me a warning, i immediately got the warning counter running (since the very next day i saw the post again) and the warning is still counting till date and has not expired. It was more than 2 weeks back.

Description of Problem:

I have been on this server for a good time, and i respect all the people and their views, and would want everyone to do the same with me, as i think this is the major reason why people like the open and free server.
I have received 2 warnings of +2 points each, for objectively two things,
1. I posted incorrectly in a thread without proper format. ( I was new and did not know how to navigate or get through the forums, and was warned directly without any notice period, but well I was at fault so its okay.)

2. I posted 'Heil wonttakenameagain' in a thread in a sarcastic remark, which apparently was not understood nor taken in good stead.

The thing is, that first of all I would like to have a notice, before i get a warning about any posts of mine and a days time to correct them since my hours online are different from most people as i live in India.
And for second, many things that other people might find offensive might be a very frivolous thing to me (since i am culturally different in many aspects) and hence i might post things, which you might argue the integrity of, but they are in no way meant to offend anyone or any community and will be corrected whenever pointed out.

Other:
People in general who know me as on the server as Redder/Shaman would know I am a kind hearted jolly happy go lucky person, but I am absolutely conscious of the reputation, goodwill and image, and any such thing as rating me down by warnings brings that down by a certain degree. Which i find is very demeaning.

Why It Affects You:

Many things that other people might find offensive might be a very frivolous thing to me (since i am culturally different in many aspects, and, am not internationally exposed) and hence i might post things which you might argue the integrity of, but they are in no way meant to offend anyone or any community.

If you really want to warn me just PM me i will cordially respond, i do not require to be warned about anything twice, and i am a dutiful person. Many of the moderators will also agree that i have helped them in instances and am overall helping everyone on the server mostly.
I am slightly angry and an mostly disheartened by the fact that i have been warned twice without being given a notice, or time to react , which i have seen other people get.

If you have read this I thank you for your patience. And I would like to remind people that i might also get offended, in a similar manner, by things you might find frivolous, but i do give everyone the benefit that they all are not aware or might not realize that what they do is offensive, for example, cows are worshiped in my country as a Deity and a symbol of universal motherhood.
But I mostly take things that people do in good stead, the fun that people make of things also in good stead, and not get offended. Tolerance is a virtue admired by all.
Please try to do the same and at least notify people that its offensive, before going out lashing someone's reputation.

I am deeply saddened.
